Why are most Christians so weak today?

Why are so many of us so weak in our faith. If God truly is the God of the universe and made all that there is, then do we not owe it to him to know who he is and serve him in all that we do. If we really believe that God is God in the definition of the sole creator of all, then we must seek him. Why do you think people don't "be all they can be" in their walks with the Lord so to speak?
